Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have limited community living and day support options in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. Your Golf Fore Empowerment sponsorship or registration will help individuals with disabilities live in and enrich their communities. By investing in residential and day support projects including accessible transportation, community exploration, and home accessibility, you invest in quality of life for all.
Pleasant View is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation and we need your help to further our mission. Your participation and promotion of our tournament can help community members learn more about Pleasant View, Inc., the people we support, the programs we operate, and the need for our services in the community.
The format of the event is Captain’s Choice. We will be playing “Par is your friend” to help with rate of play. This means that if you do not make your birdie putt/shot, pick up and go to the next hole. Par will be your score for that hole. The entry fee for each golfer is $115 or team $440 and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls and goodie bags, door prizes, contests, and lunch. You have the option to purchase a Powerball and 2 Mulligans. This year’s contests include 4-Par 3 Closest-to-the-Pin, and 2-Longest Drive (with a women’s and men’s prize). Space is limited, please register by May 13th to be sure to get a chance to play and win!
Tournament Schedule:
- 8 to 8:45 am Registration
- 8:50 am Opening Remarks
- 9 am Head Out to Play
- 9:10 am Tee Time: Shotgun Start
- 1:00 pm Lunch Buffet Begins
- 1:30 pm Door Prizes drawn & Prizes Awarded (depending on rate of play)

Grand Slam Sponsor $5113
Grand Slam Sponsors will be included in all publicity (news releases, public service announcements, posters, and brochures) that will be distributed prior to the event. You will receive acknowledgement on our Website and Facebook page. You will receive publicity on the day of the event through signage and in the keepsake program distributed to all participants. This sponsorship level includes 12 spots in the tournament (FMV $816). You can submit a video about your business and why you support Pleasant View to be posted on social media.
