Shaping a More Inclusive World

Pleasant View was created to provide independent living opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). In March of 1971, we opened one of the first community-based homes licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia. For the past 54 years, Pleasant View has been supporting individuals who have disabilities in living out their goals for meaningful work, relationships, and spiritual development.

We need to you to join us in raising $25,000, to help provide accessible community living options for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Individuals with IDD face limited residential options, sometimes forcing them to move away from family and friends. Your generosity during the Great Community Give will help change this narrative. Donations will also be used to fund life enrichment opportunities such as trips, spiritual development, and participation in community activities.
