Because we are a 24/7 facility the ability to consistently come to work and have good attendance is an essential function of all positions.

Community Friends
Drop in or call your friend at Pleasant View
If you are friends with an individual who lives at Pleasant View and want to invite them to dinner, the movies, or any other activity, you can pick up the phone and call them.
You don’t have to be a volunteer to be a friend.
Volunteer Positions
Apply to Volunteer
Are you interested in volunteering your time, building relationships, and sharing your gifts with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities?
- Fill out our volunteer application.
- You will also need to get a TB test at a doctor’s office (required for volunteers who make more than one visit in our programs) and give us proof of your test and results for us to keep on file.
- Turn in your application and test results in-person at 151 Commerce Drive Harrisonburg, VA 22802 or email to pmiller@pleasantviewinc.org.
- After reviewing your application, you will be called to discuss goals and schedule.
